Dear Sir, On behalf of our fellow residents of D BLOCK, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110058, wish to draw your kind attention towards the “Sudden Increase in Traffic” on Pt. Vishnu Dutt Marg, especially in the Peak hours that is Morning 8.00 am to 10 am, and also in the evenings, RESULTING IN TOTAL CHAOS ON THIS ROAD. May be the Traffic including DTC Buses, RTV ‘s etc has been diverted. I would like to highlight the following for your kind consideration and implementation : 1. Thrust should be on making the people, Drive in a Proper Lane, People drive in ZIGZAG manner. 2. There should be Traffic Road signs on PT. Vishnu Dutt Marg and Pankha Road, viz; Drive Slow” NO HONKING “No Overtaking” “ Left Turn Free” “ No U Turn on Red Light” OR “ U Turn Free “ , as people in majority take U Turn and sometimes the traffic police issues Challan unexpectedly, in the absence of the Sign and Clarity. Wearing Helmets should be encouraged, and Wrong Side driving should be controlled / stopped, to avoid Traffic Jams and Accidents, in our area, outside CGHS dispensary. 3. There should a clear markers for Selection of lanes, designated for different types of vehicles and going different directions (BUS LANE / Heavy Traffic Lane). DTC and other Buses run parallel thereby resulting in blocking the road. 4. There is No Stop Line and Zebra Crossing for pedestrians on Pt. Vishnu Dutt Marg as well as Pankha near Sagarpur Area. I will appreciate your immediate attention and action in this regard, to improve the road discipline in Delhi City..
