Dear Sisters and Brothers in Islam The Muslim community is facing - TopicsExpress

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Islam The Muslim community is facing a fresh attack of violence and violation of our fundamental rights by the attack on the mosque in Grandpass and some homes of Muslims today, 10th August. We have been tolerant and maintained peace throughout the hate campaigns unleashed on us Muslims by racists through the past several months. Engaging the Authorities on this issue on numerous occasions has not resulted in any action to curtail this growing trend. While we should do everything possible to safeguard the Muslims for them to live peacefully and with dignity, we must put our entire trust in Allah. We should be making Dua as a community during this trying time. That is also our duty as a believer, where our humble and earnest prayers for the security of the Ummah are a must. Attempts at collective prayers in mosques for this purpose have been stopped in the past. We should urge the ACJU to take immediate action and take religious leadership of the community by ensuring that the believers have the freedom to pray collectively for the security and welfare of us Muslims. We urge the ACJU to instruct all mosques to conduct Qunooth prayers for the safety of Muslims and to bring divine justice on all who are responsible for the violence against us, and the instigators behind them, Inshallah. The prayers should not be stopped under any pressure, political or otherwise.
