Dear Student: I think the intention of the confessions page on FB is noble. Any issue related to students should be brought to the notice of the administration and I think a common forum is the best to do it. However your intention is to correct the wrongs of the SLIIT and not display all the issues to the entire world to see. This is going to tarnish the image of the SLIIT we are trying hard to protect. I am sure you understand that the SLIIT is fast becoming a threat to the other universities as the processes are improving and the student output is becoming better and better. The most recent examples are the NBSQA winning, RoboFest winning and some young men in the SLIIT opening a successful company called Aerial View. Please make sure any forum which is used by students to air views on FB is made private and only people with SLIIT email addresses (withing the domain) can register for it. Otherwise all the good which is done here at SLIIT will be tarnished because of a few students who do not understand the protocols. You are in a university now and not an institute like others. Please make it your objective to educate the student body and ensure that the community of students at SLIIT has a forum to air their views as well as making sure it is not put on public display for others to ridicule the SLIIT.
