Dear Student, Microsoft is upgrading the UKZN student e-mail - TopicsExpress

Dear Student, Microsoft is upgrading the UKZN student e-mail system from Microsoft Live@edu to Microsoft Office365. This means a bigger mailbox (25GB), improved services with better collaboration, and a more intuitive e-mail interface. The migration of your e-mail account will begin on Wednesday, 26th June 2013. We expect the process to be completed by Saturday 29th June. During this period, your e-mail will still be accessible via Live@edu. You will know your mailbox has been upgraded when you click on the Login button from the my.ukzn.ac.za/ web page, and are presented with a new logon screen. So get with it... Get moving with Office365! What does this mean for you? 1. Office 365 account. This account gives you access to your University e-mail. To log in, use your e-mail address as your username, but for your password, you should use your UKZN LAN password e.g. [email protected] and your LAN password. 2. Skydrive. Your Skydrive can be accessed using your e-mail address as your username and your live@edu password. e.g.: [email protected] and your existing Live@edu password. What should you expect? Email. We will continue to use Microsoft Outlook Web App or Microsoft Outlook to view and send email, but you will sign in at a different website. File sharing. We will use Microsoft SharePoint Online for sharing files and Office Web Apps for creating and reading documents Where can you find the above services?
