Dear Students, As you may well know, David Suzuki will give a lecture this Saturday March 8th as part of the John Molson Sustainable Group’s upcoming Business Beyond Tomorrow Conference. Also, on March 7th, the College is hosting the Partnerships for the Living City: Promoting Urban Biodiversity Day. At this event, Holly Dressel, co-author of three books with David Suzuki, will give the keynote address. This keynote address is part of a gala dinner featuring several sustainability leaders, academics and students, and registration cost is 25$ for students (the same as David Suzuki’s lecture the following day). Given the synergy between Suzuki and Dressel’s work, the College decided to facilitate the opportunity for our students to hear both speakers, which is why we decided to offer the following: The first 10 LCDS students that provide us their proof of registration for the keynote address featuring Holly Dressel on March 7th will receive one free ticket to attend David Suzuki’s lecture on March 8th. Proof of registration can take the form of a print screen of your registration confirmation or receipt. You can either send these by email to [email protected] or show them at my office (AD-502).
