Dear Stupid People (Chap 32) : With Friends Like These Over the Holidays we were entertained by some amazingly stupid statements from govt Ministers, but deep down we all knew that the best was yet to come, as Froon was still to give his Xmas message. And he did not disappoint! In his message he implied that some of us are baby-killers, comparing us to King Herod who, as Froon carefully pointed out, ordered the massacre of newborns. The Minister of Drains then helpfully chipped in with his assessment that were a nation of stinkies who litter the place needlessly. To this we must add previous Ministers insults – like Ronald, who thinks our children are “possessed by demons” - and as for the rest of us, his “govt might need to crack some of our heads and shoot some people.” Or Froon, who in the 2013 Election run-up promised no public sector lay-offs, and repeated that statement triumphantly in October 2013, then 3 months later started laying off 3,000. We get it, DLP govt – you dont think much of us. Thats OK. Call elections – well show you how much we love you too.
