Dear Tucson Yogis: Are you looking for some powerful Seva? Wanting to share yoga with an underserved population? COPE Community services has a wonderful program called CLIC (COPES Lifestyle Improvement Center). They are located on Stone at University, 732 N. Stone Avenue. It is a community center open to the whole community, but free for clients of COPE (Individuals with Mental Health Issues). COPEs philosophy is that Mental Illness is very treatable and possibly curable with lifestyle adjustments: exercise, diet, meditation, yoga, support... I have been teaching yoga there for almost a year and it has been very rewarding. The students are craving more yoga! There is room available in their schedule for more classes. If anyone is interested in volunteering, please contact me or Program Manager: Erica Beca Phone: 520.884.9505 [email protected] It is a great organization with wonderful students who really do not have access to yoga in other venues. Blessings, Joanna Carichner
