To help our users falling prey to some of the behavioral traps such as performance chasing behavior, disposition effect, gambler’s fallacy, we have launched lessons in behavioral finance series. Our Waves LV30 Dynamic index tracks the performance of least volatile stocks from the universe of past and present constituents of CNX 200 index. LV investing is a way of exploiting low risk anomaly and it has a potential of outperforming capitalization weightage benchmark portfolios over a period of full market cycle at much lower 60% to 80% of benchmark volatility. Our Waves GB 50-50 dynamic index tracks the performance of monthly rebalanced investment in Gold and equity benchmark portfolio in equal proportion. Replication of this index portfolio captures golden potential of gold as a diversifier of systematic risk of an equity market portfolio that cannot be reduced by diversification within the equity asset class.
