Dear Valued Customer, It is with very mixed emotions that I write to inform you that I will be letting go of the Damselfly Photography name as well as the business. I have enjoyed my nearly eight years in the photography business. I still plan to take pictures of course for fun, but no longer as my job. There have been countless milestones I have been lucky enough to capture. Having met so many beautiful people along the way and was blessed enough to capture moments of so many fantastic human beings, a few of whom we’ve have lost, giving the families a treasure to hold onto forever. I have also been lucky enough to meet so many other talented photographers through TCPPA (Twin Cities Photographers Association) and through my mentor and good friend Jon Wright. Having spent so much time getting to know many of you, I am blessed to call many of you friends. I am extremely blessed to get the opportunity to peruse my dream job as a contemporary Romance writer thanks to the amazing support from my husband and daughters, as well as a big support system of friends and family! I’m just finishing up on my first book and have plans already for the next two of a series of three. I will be working with a local publishing company called Wise Ink to publish the book. I hope to have the first book out in April 2014! I will be campaigning to raise money for my book in January through a company called Pubslush. Any of my past clients will be given the opportunity to purchase the rights and digital files from our session/sessions at a discounted rate. Rates for files will vary as far as number of images and quantity of files that have been retouched due to your past portrait order. Images that have not been retouched from a previous order can be retouched for a fee and an images used as studio sample will also be sold for a small fee.
