Information reaching us shows that some anti-Jonathan agents (and die-hard supporters of Buhari) have gone out to discredit our on-going recruitment exercise for volunteers who would work in Awka towards President Jonathan’s re-election. Whereas our announcement for recruitment of volunteers in Awka was publicized by our fans in different social media sites, at no point has YETA ever claimed that an external body (including the Nnamdi Azikiwe University or the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria) is doing this recruitment. No, the recruitment exercise is proudly a project of YETA. YETA is an initiative being backed by a body legally registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria, and has every lawful right to engage in activities geared towards sustainable development; including re-electing President Jonathan for continuity of his commendable youth empowerment projects. Every youth who feels the need to re-elect Mr President should not be discouraged by this, but remain resolute to see that President Jonathan succeeds.
