Dear all, Some eminent and patriotic Nigerians on Friday led by tallest man Ayo Akinfe pulled together one of the biggest shows in London to celebrate Nigerias Centenary. Kudos to: June Douglas, Deejay Abass, Ronke Alli Udofia, Dayo Olomu, Ayan De First, Baronessj Jummy Ariyo, Kate Anolue, Ayo Dapo Oyebade, Theodora Ibekwe-Oyebade, Boma Douglas, Femi Okutubo, Femtej Kreations - Media & Events Consultants, Vivian-Elabor VintageshowTv, Anna Mbachu, Olori Elenor Alli-Tijani, Susan Jumoke Fajana-Thomas, Sheri Adegbesan, Ekanem Robertson, Priscilla Nwikpo, Ade Aminu, Alistair Soyode, Jenny Chika Okafor, @Dozman, @LAS, Agatha Enuezie-Ewruje@Folake Odupelu, MA Benson, Yemi PeopleandPlaces, Vanessa LvLv-Events Wedding-Decor and others including (myself as observer). If I have missed out any name, its not intentional. I apologise. Its probably because the name is not on my Facebook list. These are great Nigerians by any standards who packaged a very glamorous and successful award ceremony for 100 great Nigerians in 100 years. I was an observer participant and played my small part in advising (occasionally) and in handing out some of the awards on the night. I witnessed (first hand) the hard work, perseverance, the ups and downs before this event got executed. May God bless you all abundantly because you have raised Nigerias name higher in the UK and made Baba Dalhatu Tafida and the High Commission very proud. This event has also in no small measure added to the profile of CANUK as an umbrella organisation looking after the interests of Nigerians in the UK. Our Project Lead, Chima Olughto had to shut down the CANUK Centenary committee made up of other eminent Nigerian leaders in the UK when we heard that the Ayo Akinfe Ayo committee was putting this show together. We will do so again for any other serious minded group as CANUK cannot be seen to be competing with or duplicating community efforts. Big thanks to Chima and these leaders for their understanding. Your wise decision has been justified by the brilliant outing put together by Ayo and the team. Finally, This is an example to other Nigerians: PLEASE COME TOGETHER AND DO SOMETHING TO PROMOTE A CAUSE OR HUMANITY! Lets complain less against God. Stop abusing governments and leaders. You can criticise government policies but to abuse leaders is something else. Lets do something instead with our time and resources. God already did. He created us! He also wants us to create something. lol Please listen to Mathew West: ITS A MUST! https://youtube/watch?v=0I2csO7_pOI
