Dear all, finally got the chance to read about what the outside world is saying. I just want to let you guys know that despite of all these, there are people who are really giving their best in the mission efforts. Policemen seated in the dark streets, under a cold rain and smell of decay keeping the streets safe for locals and liters and for vehicles arriving with relief goods, men of bureau of fire protection and rescue units collecting and bagging the dead, airport traffic controllers keeping the airport open for planes to arrive, doctors giving their food ration to the patients with no food supply. DPWH clearing the streets. DOH moving heaven and earth to reach the victims. How can one really be prepared for this. Some local leaders unable to make critical decisions because they are in a state of shock. Its not because they are inefficient, its the harrowing experience brought about by the event. Your mind trying to focus on the affairs of the state while your heart is constantly searching for your love ones. While others capitalize on the disaster, there are others who are truly and genuinely helping. Lets focus on them na lang. Even with little things, Lets just do it. Lets just do it. Lets just do it. No need to grandstand.
