Dear avian friends, I dont wanna sound like a snob.... But, please - TopicsExpress

Dear avian friends, I dont wanna sound like a snob.... But, please understand that nobody is a total authority on bird keeping, breeding and their problems.... A few know more and a few know a lot more... Its nice to ask questions (I always do ask... At times it may sound silly but, it would be of some value to me) but I do a little bit of reading on Google before posting a question. Anyone would be happy to answer your questions provided they sound genuine... A few people ask such lame questions, that, you doubt if he is making a mockery of you... They ask a question for which the answer would be a few sentences or a few conversations above... Please refrain from asking stupid questions like... Whats a perch?, what should be the temperature of the water? Whats a probiotic? These are questions of common sense, or, please please do your home work by going through the net... Just because I or someone know a little more doesnt mean we are jobless. I respect a budgie as much as a macaw... I hate it when people have utter disregard for their birds... I have seen a lot of people asking for macaws without even knowing the spelling ( forget requirements ) ... They ask me if sell macows or mocovs .... Firstly I dont sell my birds to anyone but a few selected friends. Secondly, please understand that I am a business man too and I dont have all the time in the world... I will answer every question thats posted based on my experience only ( and its not very big compared to many ). Note: birds are not Xerox machines, that will jot breed with the push of a button.... Thats why Aviculture is a challenge. I am also struggling to know the secret of keeping the birds happy and secure so that they breed. Sorry, if I hurt anyone, but I had to vent this stuff out somewhere. ;)
