If you know me, you know I like to do all the work on my Vehicles. Usually the money I save justifies to tools I buy. I just rebuilt my rear axle after some ring gear bolts broke and notices some driveline vibrations. Well previously I had been using a mechanical angle finder (magnetic) but last night I found a digital one at harbor freight. My rear driveshaft was off by 3 full degrees! I dialed it in within 0.5deg and my vibes are almost gone, it even got rid of the wobble I had at 55mph. I may try to get it closer or slightly down when I get back out to the garage. Its a bit more but if you can spare the change it will let you put it a lot closer than the mechanical one. Might be able to find one online pretty cheap too.
