Dear cake people: I have deleted my previous post, because the argument started getting ugly, with comments about the other artists work and mine growing more and more mean spirited. I am grateful for the support I got from many of you. I do not visit the Cake pages very often, because I dont like the arguing. My final words on the subject are this: We are ALL trying to earn a living. It is crucial that we respect each other. I am all for sharing. Anyone who has taken any of my classes know that I have no secrets, and want everyone to have as much information as they can. I believe a rising tide lifts all boats. While I was upset that the artist whos work I showed a picture of had created a tutorial of a cake that looked remarkably similar to a cake I teach, I am not willing to throw either of us out there to be shredded. I still stand firmly for the concept of artistic integrity, and hope that we can all show each other the respect we hope to receive from our community. I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.
