Dear facebookers. This is the sign for the Izquierda Unida (United Left) party in my city of Alcala de Henares, near Madrid, during the Towns Fair. It says: Fascism and Zionism, two faces of Imperialism (with a USA flag). You could expect this to be a sign of the Communists and allies rejection of Nationalism, right? Well, look at the top-right margin of the sign, and you find a noose with the flag of Catalonia, supporting their nationalistic and fascistic bid for independence. On its left, a Palestinian nationalistic flag. Its ALMOST as if theyre believing in antisemitic conspiracy theories where Zionists control the US and that they believe ONLY Jews should be pointed as eligibile to be stripped of their right to self-determination. But of course, the party has Left in it, so it cant POSSIBLY be so, right? .... Right?
