Dear fellow Ukrainians, This is an informal invitation for an event consecrated to the recent events in Ukraine, taking part in Stockholm on June 11. With this invitation I would like to examine you interest in attending the event. In case of acceptance of this invite, the official invitation will follow shortly. The event “The winter that has changed us” reflects the history of the protests in Ukraine, highlighting the role of the newly born civil society. The event will consist of screening of the thematic movie “Nebesna Sotnya” authored by the #Babylon13 team, which is to be followed by a mingle with guests and the movie director Yulia Gontaruk. Among guests are civil society organizations in Sweden, young activists, media, relevant university scholars, as well representatives of the embassies of the U.S., Poland, Lithuania, Czech Republic. The event is organized by the NGO Ukrainian Youth in Sweden in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm. Title: The winter that has changed us. Date: Wednesday, June 11, at 5:00 pm.
