Dear friends. Although late, I want to tell you that the representatives of head of sections, secretaries and delegates of the city and rural areas voted for the Chairman of Democratic Party of Pogradec District on 1 July 2014. I was part of this nomination and won the second round runoff. I am very grateful, that the denial of my right to be in the race itself was cancelled by Mr. Basha (Chairman of Democratic Party of Albania), who declared for me in the conference, in the presence of 400 people to be legitimate candidate! I win that race! My heart was strong as mountain to see that democracy is set! It was decided based on vote principle and upon principles of meritocracy, which Mr. Basha did conduct fairly in Pogradec! For this I am grateful! Therefore, I would like to thank all of you wholeheartedly and without exception, the voters for PROS and CONS, because this is democracy for which we are trying to accomplish. YOUR VOTE in majority ruled, and for this I want to state that today in Democratic Party of Pogradec there are no winners and losers, but there is a chosen one by the rule of vote! Upon this democratic will, together as one, we shall build Pogradec Democratic Party united. A unity, that each of us has dreamed. Renato Preza
