Dear friends, As you well know, the land where we have now the shelter is rented and at few months after the signing of the lease contract and building the shelter, the owner died. His wife sold the land and now we need to move again. Our situation is bad. We found a land for which we signed a precontract and that we will buy in November, but we need to move our 150 dogs from Jilava at the end of this month, September, and there are the 70 dogs that are in Frumusani. We need to collect as soon as possible some money and materials to start building the padocs for the dogs. We already payed a deposit for the buying of the new land, thanks to Mukitza association & friends from France and Kulkurit Hobo Dogs associatin & friends from Finland. The money to buy the land are in prportion of 70% collected thanks to friends and association from Finland but we have no money for the construction and if we won’t move the dogs fast, we are afraid the buying of the land will will be in vain if we don’t have anymore the dogs to help. Here is a list of what it’s a priority to make and buy: - a well – 1000-1500 euro, depeding on how deep will be; - a generator – 350 euro; - to start the wall for the fence – around 5000 euro on about 100 meters; - for 10 padocs – around 4000 euro Also we could really use a trailer or a container where a person can live in or where we can store materials. Beside this, we are confronting with the daily expenses with food for dogs, payment of the 2 workers, car & gas, vet bills etc. We know that the sums are big, but hopefully, with many shares of the event we will be able to start the work to the new land and to make enough padocs to move our dogs. If they are moved and safe, we can make everything else in time, but now the situation is pressing . Any amount counts! our own land where the dogs and us can stay without worries and where they will have enough space. The land is 8400 square meters, but we will buy it together with another person, so we will have 4200 square meters. It’s really close to Bucharest, but in an isolated area where we don’t disturb nobody. We hope that this pressing and frustrating situation now, will be transformed in a beautiful and relaxing future regarding us and our dogs.
