Dear friends, For those who are not aware, the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has started the registration of National Identity Number (NIN) and the NATIONAL ID CARD. The registration comes in two steps: Online Pre-registration/Filling of required forms at NIMC office. Physical bio-metric verification To start online preregistration, log on to the registration portal at ninenrol.gov.ng and create an account, then proceed to eleven (11) stages of providing your information. You may save the information provided and log in with your email address and password you used in creating the account later. Upon successful completion of your online registration, you will be allowed to select state of registration to schedule a day and time for your Physical verification at the NIMC office or center closest to you. A printable slip is provided for you to take to the NIMC unit for the physical bio-metric verification. Ensure you have valid means of identification before going to their office.
