An excerpt of the letter below. I am writing to express my concern regarding the reports that we received that more than 5500 families who are residents of San Roque, North Triangle, Quezon City are now facing continued threats of demolition and massive displacement to give way to the implementation of the Vertis North Project under the Quezon City Central Business District. Last May 31, 2013, the residents of Sitio San Roque received another Notice of Demolition from the Task Force for the Control, Prevention and Removal of Illegal Structures and Squatting of the Local government of Quezon City signed by the Officer in Charge Marlow Jacutin. The said notice is giving the residents 30 days to remove their houses and leave the community. Th. J. M.
