Dear friends, I love our freedom of speech and, probably like many of you, I see FB as a great networking tool that is pretty much morally neutral, a blank screen on which we project ourselves, our thoughts, frustrations, joys, questions and even (though its not designed well for it) sorrows (do I like your breakup announcement, your family loss without seeming like Im happy you are suffering?). That being said, I am pretty sensitive and I recently saw some things posted, without any warning or indication of their content, that really messed me up. I cant unsee them, I cant stop thinking about them, I cant stop the heart ache. I just want to ask that you all please, please, consider the things youre posting and how they might effect others. Maybe it deserves a little context, maybe a warning about its graphic nature, or maybe just dont even post it all. Its up to you, just something to think about. Love, Sleepless in Dallas.
