Dear friends: Most of you all know that I do many charity workings & fundraisers for local people in true need & desperate situations. If it wasn’t for all the giving hearts I have on here, those people would have never been helped in their desperate times of need. Well now, my family is in need of your help. My sibling & sibling in-law have stepped forward to take in a 7 yr old boy to provide a safe, loving & stable home. My mom will provide babysitting during needed times. The father of the boy is a long time friend of ours whom we consider our brother. (My parents actually raised the dad & his brother during our middle & high school yrs. My parents raised a lot of folks kids who needed a home as we grew up; they never expected a penny. This father is a really good person). He is a single dad having a hard time in life & he has no one at all to help, except my family. The mother is incarcerated & is seriously not capable of caring for the boy. The dad’s new job is requiring him to be out of town for several months at a time now. The boy has gone through a trying time (theres alot more to it than I can share) & was brought to my sibling w/only 2 outfits. The mom was suppose to care for the boy but she keeps getting arrested for her illegal habits, so this all came about suddenly. My family wasn’t prepared, but are more than willing to help our friend (the dad) & most of all, his child. They are very happy to have welcomed the child in their home, to be part of the family & take care of him so that he has a clean, stable, safe, nurturing & loving environment & home. My sibling & family are not financially able to go out & buy the boy new clothing, underwear & shoes that he needs. If anyone out there can spare any used or new clothing & shoes, a gift card to walmart, etc…. we would all be extremely grateful. The boy is 7 yrs old. He wears size 7 in clothing & size 3 in shoes. My mom, Elisa Haynes, can come to you to pick up any donated items. You can contact her on here (click on her name in the blue) or you can text/call her at 963-7818. Thank you all so very much.
