Dear friends, The past few weeks have seen an increase in animosity among everyone, and it is very noticeable here on FB. I see so much backbiting, swearing, anger, fear and fear mongering that I am taken aback. A glimpse at the present state of the world shows us why this is happening. From east to west, north and south the world is in unparalleled turmoil. Murders, genocide, epidemic disease, war, threats of war, violence, anger, rage are the things we wake up to every morning and fall asleep to every night. I am not a man to speak of doomsday or predict dire things. But today, I sense there has been a change in the world. Perhaps a turning point which cannot be undone. I urge you all to stop, look, listen, and reflect on your life. Now is the time to muster your most human self and act, not in fear or ignorance, but in calm patience and love. Love is the most powerful thing in our possession. It is infinitely greater than hate. Hate springs from ignorance and fear but love brings knowledge and confidence. Love one another! Do not give in to the times and run with the winds of evil. Love your neighbor. Political ideologies, religious beliefs, philosophical opinions cannot deliver us from this world which has abandoned love. We must summon up the best in ourselves to weather this storm and we can only do that by loving each other. Forget our differences. Focus on our common humanity. Lets stand together and say, ENOUGH! If we pursue love and demand from ourselves what we want from others then we can win. Otherwise we will fail and the powers of evil and wickedness will have their way for a season. May God help us to survive until tomorrow and may we all live to see the day when peace comes. It is not for our children to accomplish this, but for US. Peace is the inheritance we need to pass on to our children. Speak boldly for the truth. Stand firm. Seek the good of your neighbor and abandon the need to satisfy yourself. Band together in goodness and love and peace will come. Jason
