Dear friends, Twenty one days since we started the campaign in - TopicsExpress

Dear friends, Twenty one days since we started the campaign in support of Nahal Oz, Friday was one of the toughest days in the history of the kibbutz as four-year-old Daniel (Z”L) was killed. The fund-raising project will officially ran out in a week but we are planning to prolong it further as long as the fire continues and as long as families with children are forced to stay out of the Kibbutz . Please share this link and please donate if you have not yet done so: Https://mimoona.co.il/Projects/2184 Also please share the special page we opened in Facebook with as many people as possible. https://facebook/supportnahaloz In addition, we wanted to update you on a few things. Last Tuesday morning we visited Kibbutz Nahal Oz just a few hours before the rocket fire started again, we met with a few people from the management: Adi Friebach, Ethan Tovya and Avi Kadosh the Kibbutz Manager. The conversation was very positive, the overall consensus was that the best use of our donation will be to improve the living conditions of the children. The team decided on two main goals: 1. To purchase new equipment to the “Social Center”. This is the name of the facilities that entertain children from first grade to sixth grade, there is a need to purchase new sofas in the TV room, dining desks, chairs, etc. all of that and more is in need of renewal. 2. Improving the small Petting Zoo (formerly known as “Meshek Yeladim”). The Kibbutz will check what need to be improved in the Petting Zoo. How much money was collected so far: To date we have collected around 96,000 NIS (new Israeli Sheqels) that’s around $30K. Approximately 71,000NIS were collected through the donation website and the rest was donated directly to the bank account of the Kibbutz. Of course the situation in the Kibbutz is very difficult and our current actions are mainly through support and solidarity, in a meeting with several members of the kibbutz many of them expressed their appreciation to the campaign. We hope that peace will return to the Kibbutz very soon and that there will be no more casualties. Thank you!
