Dear friends, We would like to present a project that one of our volunteers, Caroline Yates from UK, started to do, after volunteering through Projects Abroad Romania for a month. She started a fund raising campaign in her country, contacting the police department, private companies and football clubs, to collect money and build a Football Pitch for Ghimbav Centre for Teenage Delinquents. Together with her project supervisor, Georgiana Poparad, they met with the director of the centre and the professional construction team and set up a plan for the whole project to happen: setting up building details, planning contracts, legal and financial papers. The plans are on role and ready to happen. The construction is planned to start at the beginning of May! Everyone is very happy with everything and they are thrilled to have the final result. We would like to give thanks again to our volunteer Caroline, for her immense love and care for the children and for giving so much, expecting nothing in return.
