Linda and Gerry I am thinking of members of the group working on Loretta Saunders legacy. Joan, you no doubt know some fine young voices, and Laura you might pass it on through your network. Xara is a remarkable young womens choral group (age 18-30) based in Halifax is looking for young aboriginal woman to take the lead role in a production of Fatty Legs. This is a memoir of a young Inuit girls residential school experiences. The group performed an adaption of this story when the Truth and Reconciliation Commission was in Halifax. They want to rework it and take on tour throughout the Maritimes during the first quarter of 2015. Auditions for the lead part are being held this month, October.
