Dear friends, a number of people have been commenting to me that Im looking a bit thin, and wondering if Im ok. Thank you so much for your concern, but I can assure you that I am fine. A month ago I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, which is the reason for my sudden weight loss (3 stone in all). Although initially a shock, Im pretty much all right about it, and am just adjusting to a new (more boring) diet, and gigantic pill taking. Im not putting this on Facebook to get a load of sympathy comments, so please dont. Id prefer the usual piss taking that I have come to expect from my friends I only put this status up because its getting a bit tiresome explaining it over and over again to everyone when I see them, and they go, ooh your looking a bit thin, are you ok? To those who have spoken to me about this, thank you so much for your concern and help. Its really not that big a deal, and it could be a lot worse. There are people out there going through much worse, so Im not going to let it bother me. Love you all. G
