Dear friends and family, here we are again. 2014 Holiday season. This year was certainly a crazy, over the top year for me and my family. Before 2014, our family had an extraordinarily, tough past 5 years, so Jim and I really enjoyed this amazing year. What I learned about myself is that I truly, truly LOVE people. I get contact highs when talking to different people. I love all different walks of life. Their stories, their struggles, what they learned in life, what they need to learn, what they miss, what they desire. I love hearing different views of the world and how each of us handles the struggles of life. And yes, I even love the haters , the nay sayers., the negative nellies, lol, I love them all. Instead of pushing those people away or returning their negatively to them, I just pray for them, love them, and wonder if there is anything I could do to ease their pain. I think this world is missing good old fashion communication. It is ok to be angry at someone, however, we need to communicate better to one another as to what has caused the hurt. We are quick to take to social media or texts to air out dirty laundry when instead, we should be requesting a sit down to hash things outs. NOT via text, NOT via email, NOT even via phone. It should be done sitting down, sitting down face to face, looking at one another, eye to eye. I pray everyone has a beautiful Holiday season. I keep hearing that the spirit of Christmas does not seem to be present this year. This is heart breaking. Holiday spirit is within all of us and is in so many forms. It can be from donating your time to the less fortunate, it could be drawn from faith, or it can be felt from children or the elderly. I pray you find your Holiday spirit, your beautiful light of happiness within the simple pleasures of life. A designer bag wont give you that spirit, but instead the love for another human being no matter what the relationships consists of. I am sending love to you all!!!!! Love, Amber
