Dear friends and members, Today is one of our most memorable days of our society PSKS. In her history of 21 years,since 19 June 1993, for the first time we have carried out successfully a collection drive to collect financial assistance for our friend ,a fellow member of our fraternity. What we did today in helping a friend,Mr Lau Geok Ling, by a token of financial assistance is a manifestation of a caring and,most importantly,compassionate society that we are. We should all be very proud of this event and effort rendered. The amount is not much but the thought and affirmative action carried very professionally with dignity and respect is what matters. Our member loves philatelic materials, hence we gather together to establish , develop, and promote our society. Today our passion has been upgraded to compassion for fellow human being. As your president, it would be doing injustice to all of you if I do not comment all of you for his noble deed although as you would have notice,I did not participate much in this forum. The fact that this whole donation was conceived through conversation among members of the society,planned appropriate action as a team,implemented professionally,respectfully and properly by us as a group and together we presented our donation to Mr Lau as a united society speaks volume about the nobility and standard of our society. I salute all of you and it is indeed an go our and privilege to be your president. Thank you very much for your gallant action and contribution to Mr Lau.
