Dear friends if you want free pdf science books for grades 7 - 9 you can download them yourself at curious.org.za/ or you can get it from me. Just bring a USB stick and Ill copy it for you. No charge involved. It is CAPS compliant and you can make as many paper copies as you like. The WCED may print or may have printed them already and gave them to your children. However, you can download them on a tablet, laptop or computer and use them at your convenience (Some schools keep the textbooks at school). If your child is in grades 10 -12 there are maths and science books available at Everything Maths : everythingmaths.co.za/ for Maths grades 10 -12 and Maths lit grade 10 Everything Science: everythingscience.co.za/ for Physics grades 10 -12 and Life Sciences grade 10. If you child is in grades 4 -6 there are Natural Sciences and Technology books at : thunderboltkids.co.za/ NST for grades 4 - 6 if you dont have the means to download them, I can make these available at no cost if you bring you own USB/external hard drive. I can also provide Khan Academy videos free. Here you need to provide at least a 16 GB USB which you will have to leave with me since it requires some time to copy. Generally I can make it available the same day. NB! These resources are free and can be distributed free of charge. Please do not charge anybody else when copying it for them. There is a licence attached and you cannot make money from it. Also, I cannot make it available to you if it costs me something. My contribution is that I download it once at my cost (because I have some form of internet at home) and I distribute. That is it. The Khan Academy videos were made available for me by Numeric (numeric.org/) at a cost of a 16 GB USB stick. You can do the same. Please inbox me so that I can be available when we make arrangements.
