Dear friends, we have a large number of elderly and disenfranchised neighbors who dont have internet and computers and phones to reach out to social media and such. Please, be proactive to look for the needy in our city this month after unprecedented floods. Apparently in Dove Springs (a neighborhood in Austin) no one is getting the help and support needed from the larger Austin community to recover from devastating floods that have swept houses away...if you see ANYTHING about opportunities to help in Dove Springs this month, PLEASE, PLEASE extend any and every tiny thing you have. Neighbors are discourage...that means fellow humans are struggling. We can be there if we just know...
