Dear nearby neighbor that I do not know. Just an open rant as to how Im oh so very sorry that I chose not to stop in my short walk to put up my frozen groceries to help you and your mother (?) move that tiny throw rug 60 feet. Your humble request of Hey will ya help us? should have inspired me to drop the perishable food I purchased for my family that very instant, especially considering our previous memories together which extend as far back as 17 seconds. I mean.. its quite often that I make a sudden request of a busy passerby to help me move something without taking a moment to say excuse me, please or begin with a brief introduction. Interestingly enough, had you been more polite in your request I would have gladly returned moments later after putting my groceries away to help you, as that is the kind of person that I am. Overall, though... Im rather glad that didnt happen, as the mumbled instructions for your mother of were not getting out of his way as I went by with my second load of groceries confirmed my initial opinion of you. I was pleased upon my return for my final item from our SUV saw that you and your mother successfully navigated the five foot long throw rug the entire 60 feet into your car. It appeared to weigh as much as three gallons of milk and all, so major props to you. May the next time you expect a stranger to drop their frozen grocery items to help you with a minor project after a cursory request go more smoothly than it did today.
