Dear ones, I want you all to know that Caden was officially upgraded to a stage 4 glioblastoma multiforme. This is the most aggressive type of astrocytoma. We are choosing to take Caden off of all treatment given by western medicine. Radiation is very dangerous, with horrible side effects, and cannot guarantee a higher survival chance. The same goes for chemotherapy. With this aggressive of a tumor, chemo would probably not touch it. It would also make him sick and weak - and we do not want his time spent like this. We want to keep him "Caden" for as long as we can. We love Caden very much, and will do what we can to keep him happy for as long as we can. We will be trying some homeopathic remedies, as well as prayer. We know that God can cure Caden. We know that he can hold that tumor at bay. And this is what we are praying for. If we get many months or even longer - we will give all of that credit to God. Our pastor once taught us about having faith like Peter, and stepping out of the boat. When you put your full 100% faith in God, it is then that you will see miracles. If you doubt or falter - it is then that you will start to sink. We choose to rely fully on God and we will praise him when he gives Caden these miracles
