Dear parents, Researchers in the Department of Psychology at Northumbria University are recruiting participants for a study investigating predictors of psychological well-being and family functioning in parents. You will be required to complete an online survey involving questions regarding your health and well-being in relation to being a caregiver. This survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. You are eligible to take part if you are: • Aged 18 years or older • The parent of at least one child aged 3-19years with a developmental disability (autism, downs syndrome, ADHD) OR the parent of a neuro-typical child. • Not managing any serious chronic illnesses such as heart problems, cancer or arthritis. • Free from any psychiatric and mood disorders such as depression and bi-polar disorder. The study has been approved by the Health and Life Sciences Undergraduate Committee at Northumbria University.
