Dear prayer partners: Thank you for praying for Julie. Please continue praying for Julie Anderson and my sister, Sandy Magee, her partner. Here is an update. Julie chose not to say much until she better understood the situation. She had breast cancer verified by the biopsy of a recently removed mass. There were two masses. Top mass did not have cancer. One underneath is did. It looked like it was encapsulated (that is good), but recently started leaking. She has now had a double mastectomy. The pathology report showed that the cancer had spread into one lymph node in the first level. Both the first and second level of nodes were removed during the double masectomy. I guess there are three levels of nodes. She will meet with the oncologist and learn more, but Drs. say they have gotten all cancerous cells and are saying it was Stage 2. She will have chemo. She feels positive. Those of you who have gone through this with others "know the roller coaster". Things look very positive and Julie is working on getting back to normal. She is e-working as she sees fit. She is so appreciative of all the prayers, love and support, but the number of texts and emails she receives do overwhelm at times. Pray for peace and calm. She is already off the strong pain meds and is using just Advil. Pray that the Advil will be enough. Please continue to keep Julie and Sandy in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you and Much Love, Connie Please feel free to share this information with others that have been praying for Julie.
