Dear pregnant friends, Here I am posting the package inserts for every flu vaccine - or at least i think I got them all covered here. As you can see in the use in specific populations part of each flu vaccine, it CLEARLY STATES that every single one of the flu vaccines safety or efficacy in pregnant and nursing women have NOT BEEN ESTABLISHED. These package inserts are made by the manufacturers themselves. I have a friend who recently was told by her midwife (a hospital midwife, not atraditional home birth midwife) that science has proven over and over the safety and effectiveness of the flu shot in pregnant women and that she is endangering her child by not getting the flu shot. I wonder if this doctor has ever even bothered to look at the package insert on this flu shot she injects women with?
