Dear road race organisers, Thank you once again for yet another Sunday lockdown on my road for yet another Surrey cycle race. Yes the exciting spectacle goes by my house but no, I dont appreciate not even being able to walk outside own gate from 5am till evening. This time youve excelled yourselves as youve created a complete loop around the whole of the area, Box Hill towards Leith Hill, meaning hemmed in back routes, so I cant even escape through the country estate like we did when they kindly opened up their tracks during the first race. Hope no one needs an ambulance, or, I dont know, some sort of chocolate emergency. Wish you would pick other places to stick it, not always my road (a25!). At least there are blackberries to pick and dogs to walk. Think of me if its pouring and I cant even do that. If so, catch up TV will be well and truly caught up. Yours Disgruntled of Dorking :-)
