Dear vice-mayor Isko Moreno, We would like to call your attention to the on-going construction site at the burned down Divisoria Mall. At roughly 7 to 8 oclock this morning, the mall was being demolished without setting up the necessary safety nets or any precautionary measures. As a result, the debris began falling one after another. One of the debris hit a live electrical line which tore it down, causing sparks and almost starting a fire. As a result, our area is now without power. A team from Meralco is now working on fixing the downed power line while the construction crew of the Divisoria Mall continues their demolition still without any safety measures. We are gravely concerned for our safety and the safety of the surrounding establishments. An accident has already occurred, we do not want worse accidents to occur and ask that your office require the Divisoria Mall crew to stop their demolition until they set up safety measures before continuing. Thank you.
