Dearest Takfiri, cyber Jihaadist and emotionally volatile in name of religion friends, I have nice question for you..... Sometimes, you label people who choose to work hard and earn money to give themselves and their families a comfortable life within means as people who are “in love with dunya” – and instead of getting job, some of you’s opt to live on “Jihaad Seekers Allowance” instead So can you please explain the following? [HOW UMAR IBN AL–KHATTAAB DEALT WITH THOSE WHO STAYED IN THE MASJID ALL DAY AND DID NOT SEEK TO MAKE A LIVING] Once when Umar ibn al–Khattaab radiallaahu ‘anhu entered the Masjid and saw a group claiming that they were people of Tawakkul in Allaah and they left the means. He said: “Who are you all?” They said: “We are people of Tawakkul.” He replied: No. You are all muta’akkiloon.” (People who are dependent on others) And Umar objected to the group of people in the Masjid for worship and consequently being dependent upon others, beat them and ordered them to seek provision saying: “You surely knew the heavens neither rained gold nor silver!” [Ibn Abi Dunya; Tawakkul ‘ala Allaah; #10]
