Dearest members of SGI-USA, please allow me to present this gift to each and every one of you. Please feel free to share this video with anyone or everyone. Keaton Akins and I had the highest honor to represent SGI-USA as SGI music corp for 2014 Youth Training Course in Japan and play music together with the Sokagakkai Ongakutai members on September 5th, 2014 for the head quarters leaders meeting. After all our schedule was done, we had the opportunity to celebrate our journey in Japan on the last day and had the beautiful opportunity to present our gift we prepared. Keaton beautifully rearranged the song Mother (Haha, in Japanese) to a duet. We were quite doubtful if we will have the chance to perform for everyone but it really was worth our struggle to arrange this last minute and find times to unite and practice. We thank each and every one of SGI members in the entire world our gratitude. We would like to be able to present this gift to everyone, not just people who were there in Japan. Both Keaton and I thought the song Mother would convey our gratitude because our mentor has written this song to convey his gratitude to all the mothers in the world. Please dont focus on the word Mother itself (lol) because our intention was to show the gratitude. Lets continue to fight together with our mentor and with all fellow comrades around the world. Though we may be far away from each other but with the sprit of itaidoshin, we will fulfill our vow for kosen-rufu and realize our mentors dream!!
