Death is the absence of all life by definition. Those who are dead - TopicsExpress

Death is the absence of all life by definition. Those who are dead no longer exist in any form they have no knowledge, no awareness, and no “life” at all. The Bible teaches that if you are born once you die twice. If you are born twice you die once and are passed over The Second Death due to the blood of the Passover Lamb. The “Second Death” is when Yahuah issues the final death decree based on the judgment of your life by His Law. His Law is the “consuming fire” we think of as Hell. John 3:3 Yahusha replied, Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of Yahuah unless they are born again. The Bible says that all men are born “spiritually dead” and separate from Yahuah from their human physical birth. All are born dead in their transgression and then made alive by the Spirit of Holiness. 1 Corinthians 15:46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. Being “born again” is when you submit your life and will to Yahuah in faith that Yahusha is The Passover Lamb. It is at that point Yahuah “breathes life” back into your dead spirit and you become an eternal living being. You are still trapped within a dying body that you must shed in order to enter His Spiritual Kingdom. 1 Corinthians 15:50 50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of Yahuah, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable The first death is unavoidable because we all inherited death from Adam in the genetic structure of our bodies: Romans 5 12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned. The Second Death is the final decree of death issued by Yahuah to all that are not spiritually eternal beings. There is much debate over whether the “second resurrection” is a literal resurrection of the dead bodies of the damned. It could very well be that what is resurrected before Yahuah is their memory, name, and their works. Their name will be read aloud, the life’s works judged by the all consuming fire of the Word of Yahuah. Their lives will be found in violation of His Commandments and the death decrees will justify their deaths. Those who have put their faith in The Passover Lamb will have their life’s work judged by The Law. The death decrees will be covered by the blood of the lamb and they will be granted eternal life and live again. They will then join Yahusha who will introduce them by name to their Father. The works of their life that are made of gold, silver, and precious stones will survive the all consuming fire and remain as rewards. We see that Yahuah casts their works into the “fire” and their works are tested and judged not the person because they are dead. 1 Corinthians 3 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because their works will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. It is their works that are judged by fire. This occurs in one day, the day of Judgment, not over the course of eternity. It is on this one day that Yahuah judges the works of those who did not build their foundation on The Renewed Covenant. Their works then come under judgment by His Law and Yahuah issues the final death decree and they are not granted eternal life. They remain dead as they have ceased to exist not having been born again in their spirit they are not eternal in any way. They receive the second death sentence and stay dead eternally. The Bible uses “metaphors” we can understand to explain this day. They are not tormented by fire their works are; it is the metaphorical “smoke” or memory of that day that rises up to the throne of Yahuah for all eternity. Revelation 14 should be properly understood: Revelation 14 9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of Yahuah, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation (on them on Earth while they live). He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone (on Earth during The Great Tribulation) in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night (on earth during The Great Tribulation), who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” The penalty of sin is death NOT burning in some place called “Hell” for all eternity. If your spirit is not reborn eternal you die and cease to exist. Immortality of the soul is a pagan false doctrine. The only thing within us that is eternal is our spirit. If you don’t have a living spirit which is the guarantee of eternal life then you die and cease to exist. If you were born once you are not eternal and you die never to live again in any form. John 3:3 Yahusha replied, Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of Yahuah unless they are born again. The Bible says that only those who have faith in Yahusha receive eternal life all others perish or “cease to exist” not receiving eternal life. The concept of “burning in hell eternally” implies that everyone is given eternal life. We should all know by now that all “implied” doctrines violate explicit scripture: John 3:16 For Yahuah so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Yahusha should not perish (cease to exist in death) but have everlasting life. Romans 2:12 For as many as have sinned outside The Law shall also perish outside the law: and as many as have sinned who have The Law shall be judged by the law Only those who keep Yahuah’s commandments and express their faith in Yahusha as The Passover Lamb are not judged by the death decrees in The Law. Everyone is judged by The Law. Those not found in The Renewed Covenant die, they perish. That death sentence is eternal they are not eternally tortured there is a big difference. The Bible says those with no living spirit perish, they are destroyed, they die. All terms for ceasing to exist. The Bible refers to those with no living spirit as no different than animals. Animals have a body and soul but have no living spirit. 2 Peter 2:12 But these (who are not born again), as natural brute beasts (animals), are made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish (cease to exist) in their own corruption; Jude 1:10-13 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds [they are] without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. We see in Jude above that they are like animals with no living spirit. They are twice dead being born only once. “Blackness of darkness forever” is reserved for them which is a phrase describing death. This is DEATH the absence of all life. It is not describing being tortured in the raging fires of hell. We see this description of death/ceasing to exist again in 2 Peter: 2 Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the black darkness is reserved for ever. That is how you would describe the state of death, you cease to exist. It is “black darkness of nothing for all eternity”. Their punishment is not prolonged throughout eternity, it is pronounced over the works of their lives in ONE DAY… The day of judgment when their works are tried by fire in the lake of fire. 2Pe 2:9 then יהוה knows how to rescue the reverent ones from trial and to keep the unrighteous unto the DAY OF JUDGEMENT, to be punished, Only those who are born twice are resurrected into the realm of the spirit. They are not judged by the death decrees in The Law they are rewarded with crowns and they rule. Those who die being born once cease to exist. Their memory and works are brought before Yahuah to be judged by His Law to justify their deaths. We see blow using a parable or physical parallel that the “books” were opened which are books that contain a record of the works of every human who ever lived. Their lives are judged by The Law and the final death decree issued by Yahuah to justify their deaths. Then we see “a book” opened which is The Book of Life, anyone found in that book is given eternal life. Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. There works are “tried by fire” or “cast into the lake of fire” and their works are destroyed. Yahuah issues the final death decree which is eternal. They stay dead and are never given eternal life. The only beings punished for all eternity are eternal beings: the fallen angels: Jude 1:6, 7 “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. … the angels are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet (were destroyed), and (the devil) shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. Yahuah makes an eternal example out of those eternal beings who rebelled against Him. The fallen angels are a standing witness to all of His eternal sons not to follow that example and rebel. The Bible never says anywhere that a human being who is only born once with no living spirit is ever given eternal life in any form. It never says they are tortured in a place called Hell for all eternity. That is a pagan philosophy brought into the Christian Church through Hellenization.
