Debate time: Round 2 What are your current thoughts on... A. The amount of times the average touring band is in your city. B. The lack of diversity, within touring packages. And how illegal downloading possibly contributes.... It would be cowardly to ask for an opinion without stating your own. We personally love to tour, but we dont want to be in your face so much that you say they will be back in 2 months, maybe I will go then. Shows would be better if it were not Backtrack, plus openers Backtrack pt.2 and Backtrack pt.3, or Yob plus Yob opener pt.1000 etc... you get it. Im not a scientist, but illegal downloading hit albums sales these days negatively (not saying Im against it though) I almost feel like half of touring is a delivery service or a cold call for album sales and that is why any popular band would tour non stop, but obviously not the only reason as well. Im Interested in reading the reactions. We plan on doing an on the road podcast from the van here in February will probably talk about subjects like this.
