Debbie had an epic collapse on TV a few days ago, but this might be even better. I believe this is what they call a “deer in the headlights” moment. Debbie Wasserman Schultz was asked repeatedly what competitive Senate races Obama is campaigning for. Watching her fumble through talking points about TV ads knowing she just got caught in a lie makes me smile from ear to ear. I think it’s pretty clear what has happened. Debbie is so used to the media lobbing her softballs and never challenging any of her claims that she just randomly says things that sound good that have no actual evidence. So, when she finally gets called to expand on something she says, she has nothing. Obviously, Obama isn’t directly campaigning for anyone in a close Senate race because everyone knows being associated with Obama is the worst thing that can happen to Democrats right now. The man has been such a failure on so many different levels, who would possibly want his endorsement at this point?
