Dec 19 2014 : The Times of India (Ahmedabad) Another fire in Nandesari unit Vadodara: TIMES NEWS NETWORK A major fire broke out in the manufacturing unit of a chemical manufacturing company in Nandesari GIDC on Thursday evening. The fire was caused due to a technical failure in an equipment at the plant, fire brigade officials said. The fire at Bhuvaneswari Organics Private Ltd, a manufacturer and supplier of pesticides, caused massive damages to the factorys manufacturing facility .Around seven fire wagons had to be rushed to to extinguish the fire. Even after over three hours of efforts, the fire couldnt be extingui-shed by late Thursday evening. “It seems the fire was caused due to mishandling of a factory process and also a technical failure in the equipment. Following technical failure, there was a spark in equipment that led to the fire in the raw materials that were lying near the equipment. No casualties related to the mishap have come to our notice so far,“ said Om Jadeja, a fire brigade official.
