Dec 2010 - Became a Boston Scientific Mesh Victim through a very quick procedure. Jan 23, 2015 - Became a Mesh Survivor through a very intense long surgery in St Louis at the hands of a very skilled mesh removal surgeon. It took several years and several Drs to get to the root cause of my health issues. Mesh is not an inert material and therefore should not be put in a body. The body does not graciously host a foreign object and health consequences arise due to the body fighting against the mesh. Auto- Immube disorder, joint inflammation, low back pain, depression, etc... Mesh has left many women maimed for life, in terrific daily pain and has killed several, too. Say No to Mesh if the need ever presents itself to you or one of your loved ones. There are. safer alternative.methods that can be used.
