December 4, 7pm New Frontiers in Southwestern Archaeology lecture by Steve Lekson, Ph.D. at the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History in Paleontology Hall. Some of the most interesting archaeology is out on the edges: Freemont in the north and Mimbres in the south. December 7-8, 10am-5pm: Native American Art Market, Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, 408 Madison Court. Native dancers at 1pm and a NAGPRA panel discussion at 4pm. December 19, 2013, 10 – 1pm & December 20 4-7pm. Basketmaking with Linda Aguilar. North Building - Level 3. Learn the art of pine needle basket making with Native Arts Artist-in-Residence Linda Aguilar. Workshop is limited to 10 participants. $15 members; $20 non-members. All materials are included in the ticket price.
