Deception again I realize the depth of sorrow it is in my eyes today and tomorrow age tangles the mind like a submerged tree waterlogged defined yet still I can’t see the meaning of it all except to sleep in dreams of what must be the fall of mankind so it seems thrust on the shore of life by a cruel ocean which laughs even more as I crawl like an emotion instead of as a grown man looking for the reason questioning what I can with a taste for treason while dining on treasures from that cruel ocean enjoying its pleasures of payback in slow motion with sunlight streaming down I sit comfortably on the sand listening for a distant sound to help me to understand but instead the ocean laughs at my emotions which caves in my esteem and blasts me with her giant waves forcing me away from reality into a world of make-believe where I sleep in immortality see how easy it is to deceive
