Dedicated Personnel, Inc. is currently seeking candidates for a SHOP MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN in the Tuscaloosa area. Pay: $10.00-$12.00 DOE Work Schedule: Rotating Evening Shift - 7pm-7am - two days on/two days off (days off may not be consecutive) Job Duties: o Basic tire work, including tire replacement o Torque specification on wheel end components and replacing parts, such as bearings, where necessary o Basic hydraulic work, such as hose replacement o Basic electrical work, such as light changes on trucks o Basic suspension and steering systems maintenance and repair to ensure the vehicle is in proper working order at all times Minimum Qualifications : o At least 1 year of experience in a maintenance role on transportation vehicles o Basic foundational knowledge in air brakes & tires o Basic knowledge in hydraulics o Basic electrical knowledge o Basic suspension, steering and wheel-end components knowledge Preferred Qualifications : o Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program o Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities o Basic computer skills as demonstrated by knowledge of and ability to use MS Excel and word processing applications HOW TO APPLY: Interested candidates must submit a resume for review CONTACT INFORMATION: Dedicated Personnel, Inc.
