*Deep sigh*.....................................So you mean to tell me that because of sensationalism and media coverage, you now fear for the lives of young black boys being murdered by the police? Excuse me, white police officers?! Well, based off of reality and the FACT that most of my friends and young relatives whove been murdered, the people I fear who may take my 19 year old sons life are YOU! My black neighbors! His black friends who have known him for years or his black relatives! Numbers are FACTS and TRUTH! Again, while were emotionally making every death of a black by the hands of a white about racism, Pookie, Nu Nu and June Bug will have slaughtered the whole hood and our entire race! You can teach your child to fear the police if you want to, but you better enlighten him about his home boy! His home boy who will kill him in a heartbeat if he hesitates or disagrees with him in any way. The home boy who will shoot through his house because hes friends with someone his home boy doesnt like or because hes now dating the girl who rejected his home boy! We need to stop reacting to whats trending on Twitter and focus on whos murdering all these black youths in cities like Chicago, New Orleans, Detroit and even here in Birmingham. There wont be anyone left to protect when we finally see who the true enemy is! Its us!!!! Not all of us but its the people we know, associate with and allow into our homes. Its the same people we want to march with us when we get mad. Its the person who comes to offer his/her condolences as if theyre mourning too. Well be dead before we wakeup.
